Our experiential restaurant Le Marché in Karlovy Vary under the direction of chef Honza Krajč has achieved significant recognition. It has been included in the prestigious Michelin Guide as one of the places you should definitely not miss on your travels.

The restaurant is one of 52 restaurants in the Czech Republic that carry the Michelin Selected label. This prestigious recognition puts it alongside renowned establishments such as Café Imperial or Divinis by Zdeněk Pohlreich, Restaurant 420 by Radek Kašpárek and others.

The recognition by the prestigious Michelin gastronomic guide is a testament to the excellent work of the entire Le Marché team, as well as to their unwavering commitment to providing guests with an unforgettable gastronomic experience.

The star was awarded to 9 restaurants

The Michelin stars were distributed among a total of 9 establishments. Chef Jan Knedla and his restaurant Papilio took home the highest recognition of two Michelin stars from the gala evening in Mariánské Lázně.

Michelin Selected is awarded to establishments that offer high quality food, good craftsmanship and a consistent level of service. For diners, this means they can expect a quality dining experience. Michelin Selected is thus the first step towards a possible future Michelin star.
