Chef Jan Krajč

born on 17 January 1966

Renowned Czech chef Jan Krajč creates a new experiential menu every day. Thanks to his many years of experience in prominent restaurants in the Czech Republic and abroad and the original concept of Le Marché Restaurant can offer a new gastronomical experience seven days a week to his clients.

  • 1995 – Chef at the Plaza Hotel in Hamburg, Germany
  • 1995 – 2007 – Chef at the Vienna International Dvořák Hotel in Karlovy Vary Professional Internship:
  • New York – Daniel and DB Modern restaurants
  • Palm Beach – Café Boulud
  • 2003 – 2008 – Czech Television – regularly hosted the School of Cooking with Jan Krajč during the Sama doma (Home Alone) weekday noon show
  • 2007 – 2012 – Food stylist at the Styl a Chuť (Style & Taste) magazine, Sanoma Media
  • 2008 – He wrote and published his cookbook entitled “Snadná jídla v barvě, chuti a konzistenci” (Simple Meals in Colour, Taste and Consistency)
  • 2009 – He founded the Easyfood Service s.r.o. catering company, which also provided catering services to the then Czech President Václav Klaus and operated a café
